1. What are three things that you are doing in class right now? In class we are working on our 2nd six weeks project, writing blogs everyday and doing the work associated with our job (documentation manager).
2. What is your paper about? My paper is about careers in technology, relating to the art aspect found in theatre.
3. Why do you think that we are writing these papers? (your opinion is not relevant to the response, you need to explain the cause or reason) We are writing these papers as a checkpoint for our project as well as updating the class on our subject.
4. Name five things that define MLA standards. MLA standards include double spacing between lines, 1 inch margins on all sides, 1/2 inch indentations, right hand top corner page numbers and a specific title page format.
5. Why do you think that we are using MLA standards? MLA standards are those accepted by most colleges and the way we will have to write school papers. Also, MLA is the easiest way to give credit for other sources.
6. What two parts were added to your paper yesterday? As of yesterday, our paper must now include a bibliography and a TEKS section.
7. What have you learned in the last week? I have learned how to use Zoho writer, and that to pass this class and get your job done, you must work outside of class to finish all the essays and assignments, as you must tun everything in to pass and a lot of things are either a 100 or a 0, like this quiz...
8. What is one thing (be specific) that you want to learn in the next week. Within the next week I want to gain a good understanding of the open source software that i need to learn in order to so well on my project and demonstrate to the class.
9. What one thing do you think is the most important thing to keep in mind when you begin creating a presentation to give to the class? The presentations that go along with our projects must first be well organized so that it is easy for the class to follow while still getting all of the information presented.
10. What is one thing that you did not understand in the last two weeks (be specific)? I didn't understand the purpose of writing an essay on our topic so soon when we haven't really had time to work on the project and had just turned in an outline/ summary the school day before. Other than that, I understand everything.
