chapter 9: the evening news - i fixed some of the ugly colors



chapter 10:

this one was cool, i especially liked the calligraphic tool that let me make the yellow side lines into strokes like the water. and i thought that it needed more leaves. i think the colors are really ugly though....

blammo project start and finish... :
so, aquo poster has begun... :




this is starting to get to be much more fun...
it is cool that with tools like eye dropper everything is just really easy to do once you get the hang of it and figure out all the little secrets and keystrokes. It is a little hard when you are working on something big and you have to remember to select and de-select individual things. It is similar to a release button on the newer ETC lightboards where your cant do anything until you hit it. It edits balls or makes you life a living hell... living hell... living hell...

New Project: Start of Lesson 3

I then worked on illustrator lesson four. this one was surprisingly easy. ( i kinda cheated and finished it during 7th period and emailed it to myself.

I really suck at Illustrator. I doubt that i will be able to finish up to lesson 11 by friday, but i will come in at lunch and stuff to get it done. I often wish that this was only a semester long course.

So, i regret to inform you all that i did not start lesson #3 on illustrator today. instead, i had yet another college meltdown/ freak out, therefore i did not get very far on anything else. however, i did use the computer to search through the theatre schools websites- thus learning that a lot of websites really suck and lack design. go figure.

my teks were:

(A) Apply computer technology to individual or community problems; Be able to use the technological information the student has acquired to solve outside problems.

and

(6) The student develops products or services using the appropriate computer technology. The student is expected to:
(A) Describe the properties and characteristics of computer-related hardware and software; Be able to describe physical properties, such as characteristics, of computer-related programs

because i dealt with websites that switched into pdf files and was annoyed. this is a physical quality and error on there part.
