i sharpened, cropped and adjusted some of the color on the images. I also took out the red eye in the mother and son/ desert picture.

i was absent, but this is what i did to make up for it

lesson 6 p shop
I had to add my own name and use the paper cut technique to do the purple borders. I had to cut the buddha statue out of a different picture and lay it over the pther images. I also had to cut the middle image into the garden image.

today, i did photoshop lesson 5, or re-did, after i erased it yesterday. it looks like this:


i added the texture to the paper on the right, added the gradient texture to the whole background, resized the letter and placed the shell and picture.

photoshop lesson 4 complete! success!!!

I cut the vegetables out of their original backgrounds, resized and turned them, then placed them on the cutting board. I also made 2 copies of the "salads" logo and changed their colors (to their inverse colors- they were pink and purple).

yay!!! i actually sort of enjoyed this lesson, and i completed to lesson 4 in photoshop and this is my 14th blog of the new semester, therefore I have met all my requirements for the first 3 weeks. balled.

i retouched the photos. it included taking out wrinkles, covering up rock blemishes and using the magic eraser to fix the yukumi picture.

today, mostly we waited to get on our computers because you were working on them, and then we had a good ole' time watching asbestos and bomb public service announcements.
these types of movies have made things safer (joking) and technology has helped that.

today i made up all of my missed blogs and joined Austin Albin's CaringBridge site. He is doing really well. Today is his 16th birthday. They started the warming process this morning to bring him up to normal temp. and he should be awake by tonight, or maybe tomorrow. Anyway it is a really good sign.

We are all hoping for the best and it looks like he is pulling out of it.

John sits next to me. Everyday he looks at mexican. chinese, and black jokes. Today he went to white jokes and they were all censored by aisd.....

so, mr bjerke counted incorrectly and said that we needed to have 14 blog posts, when really we only needed 13 because we had a monday off. anyhow, i will have 14 posts, as i am writing this one for the monday that we missed.

today, i babysat children for six hours and only made $20.

i am writing this on thursday, and bjerke is absent. his sub sucks. a lot. like one of the worst subs ever.

so, i am not here because i am working on the fashion show that is now dedicated to austin albin and his family. all of the proceeds are being donated to him so that the family can pay hospital bills and whatever else they need as they are taking time off to be at the hospital.

today i did my make-up blog for yesterday and finished last friday's blog. i also finished and submitted my DePaul application! i didnt do any photoshop.

i was absent today! i played typing games because my sister was practicing for her typing test and i wanted to show her that i was better than her. i am. and i am awesome. and humble.

so, i did not do anything in photoshop. i dont think that i will be doing a lot in photoshop for a while because i only have to get up to chapter 4 finished by next friday and i have already done chapter one. so, i am set to work on college stuff during this class.

i finished photoshop lesson 1.

first, coins: i darkened all but the gold coin.




then, Beach CleanUp: i wrote"monday is beach clean up day", then turned it purple


finally, weird clip art tie dude: i decorated his tie. it was orange, but for some reason when i exported it, it turned blue. i guess it had something to do with the different color processes.
i was absent on 1/14- monday. so i did nothing. actually, my sister had to do a typing wpm test for a job application, so i also did that and played a typing game called bubbles...

today, i did not work on illustrator or start flash because i was teaching all the new kids how to do everything to get set up to start this class. it was simple. i got all eight points for the day- i now have a question as to how points are working/ what they do. i have not seen any fruition on that subject.

i did not get to post a picture today. i worked on illustrator lesson 11, citrus bath soap whatever giftcard thing. i didnt finish. i got the tin made and started on the lemons texture stuff.
